Situated at the Old Biscuit Mill in Salt River, Cape Town, Bead Boys offers enthusiasts a unique setting to see the thousands of different beads they have on offer.

An enormous triple volume loft space, the store incorporates colour to create exciting and vivid retail spaces. Each area has a special identity based on colour and style, ranging from cool Green Forest to soothing Blue Ocean to fiery Chinese lacquer Reds. The Bead Boys store is not only a colourful place to shop, but it’s also an example of a new and invigorating merchandising philosophy that is emerging internationally.

Those visiting the store have been left mesmerised by the special effects on the floors, particularly the razzle and dazzle of the pink pearl floor and the shimmering crystal tiles in the white, apothecary-styled section. Bead Boys partner Jules Friedman, from Julestone, assisted with the creation of these unique resin surfaces.
